View Full Version : Future prospects for BA sponsorship...?

Becoming a pilot has been a dream of mine for many years now, and I had always hoped to get sponsorship for training with BA. I am currently 17, nearing the end of my first year of AS levels in English, Maths, Physics and German, all of which I will continue to A Level next year. Does anybody know if BA are likely to start their sponsorships for training again, due to their current problems? Also, is anybody else able to recommend any other ways to become a commercial pilot at the moment, without having to initially fund it myself?

Many thanks! :)

There is loads of information on the site already about becoming a Pilot.

Search for :
----------------------

Modular Route
Integrated Training

----------------------

WWW has posted about the state of the Industry as well which you will find by searching.

I would buy the book:

The Guide to Getting a Commercial Pilots Licence
By Clive Hughes.
