Word from the dero is that Paul Bennet is putting on an air display in POM on Independance Day 👍 in the Pitts.
Details are a little sketchy however it was also confirmed at AUSFLY last weekend.
This doesn't happen very often in PNG.

Dero from way down south with some ex PNG wantoks.
From the info I have the aircraft that they are going to use is in transit on its way to do more displays further and beyond after the PNG display, as I said details are sketchy.
Assume they have tee'd it up through a local operator as the display has more than likely been sponsored by someone locally in country. The aircraft may arrive in a container and be flown within the AYPY radar environment only and leave in the container. Look for a Pitts in a hangar being assembled at PY.
