Afternoon all

I have been in touch with some operators here in the UK recently, some of them might have vacancies that suit my level of experience. I have been in the LHS seat for a while, light TP and in a small outfit. I never went through "formal" screening bar the LT which was easily done, thanks to many hrs as FO on the same type and about one year as skipper.

Can anyone employed in a small/medium sized AOC enlighten me on how it was/is done for you and your peers?

Cheers and have a nice w/e!

DK :)

In my case, but I was a known entity to the company after working for them as FO for two years, it was a couple of days in the classroom (mostly crm related stuff), around one week in the simulator, ended with a company OPC, and then line training.

Same for me, "known entity" but 15 years ago, but havent the EASA rules meant that more formalized training is required with a couple of ground school courses required? Good thing is that you already do left hand seat stuff, so maybe that stuff can be deferred.

Pah..CRM is for n00bs.. i dont need no stinkin CRM :}
