Hello everyone,

I open this thread to ask a question to all of you who made their way into the helicopter industry in the recent years: how did you gain enough experience to land a proper job as a helicopter pilot? What have been your first steps after completing training?

I have read many threads where pilots talk about how one should do it, but seldom about how they actually did it.
I am pretty sure your stories can be interesting or inspiring for all wannabes like me.

Be prepared to sign your soul away to helicopter operators who abuse the fact that you want to fly there helicopter.....

But a lot of people have skills other than flying to get there first flying position......

Electrician....wiring the hangar....
Computers....Revamping the companies website....
Builder..........Assembly of the chief pilots daughter fences (horse stable)

you get my message.....

Finally have that much money you can buy any rating the company wants...
