Picked up some chatter on the interwebs about a colleague of sorts claiming to be stranded on Hamilton Island until the weekend. Had a quick stiky and found there may be some truth in the claim - anyone know why? Indeed and I suspect travel insurers may be making the same point to those poor souls who have had to extend their stay by a few days. I'm not familiar with Proserpine, but wouldn't think that getting to Mackay would prove too much of a challenge and they seem to be operating pretty much as usual - well except for delays etc on flights from Brissie this morning.
