This popped up on my feed this morning. Not all who serve necessarily aviate to keep us safe.

TS,

A wonderful idea as he lived in Lincolnshire, maybe add a missing man, may not have been an aviator, but saved just as many if not more lives.

What a lovely picture. RIP, Buster. Condolences to Will. It's often forgotten how much losing a dog can hurt.

What a wonderful dog. They are wonderful anyway, but when they are trained to do such meaningful and life-saving tasks, our affection and admiration grows.

RIP Buster (there's bacon in heaven for you)

And I must say, as I often tell my wife, "You can't get a cat to do that."

I am so very pleased that the previous policy of NOT bringing police or sniffer dogs back to the UK after a tour of duty appears to be been changed.

An experiment to check out friendship and loyalty. Take your dog, and the wife, and lock them both into the boot of your estate car while you go to play a round of golf (not in hot weather, obviously).

See which one is really happy to greet you when you get back!

RIP Buster. There's a place for you next to St Peter making sure that the unworthy don't get in...

Respect, Buster, and thank you. :ok:

Please do not lift a leg at the Pearly Gates, just in case St Peter is having a grumpy day.
