Once upon a time we could land and stop at the prairie hotel and walk across to the pub for a divine lunch. Anyone know of any hidden oasis stops where a runway is across from a place to eat?

Have you seen this map? I am not sure how up to date it is.

Come on Kaz, you're cheating! Dickair asked for S.A...

Noccundra, Qld.
Birdsville, Qld.
Milewa, Vic.
Drysdale, Vic.

But Cadney Homestead, S.A. is a new one for me. 150Km North of Coober Pedy sounds very attractive.. AVGAS available at YCBP by credit card. And always lunch or overnight at William Creek? :)

Elliston on the Eyre Peninsula coast - five minute walk into town. King George Whiting at the pub or the bakery is not too foul either.
