Spitfire over Luton

I'm sure than one of you leaned friends can answer this question.
Why was there a Spitfire displaying over Luton area this past weekend (4/5 July) ?

Spitfire PR XI, G-MKXI displaying over Luton Hoo. Don't know why.

This was displaying at the Shuttleworth Collection Military Pageant on the 5th, took off, completed his display and then couldn't land due to cross-wind apparently. Originally we were told he would return to his base at North Weald, but then it landed back at Old Warden about 20 mins later having been in hold. I am guessing he was holding over that way?

Peter Teichman was doing a private event at Luton Hoo on the 5th, same day as the Old Warden display, but it was not the same flight being some 20 miles apart.
