Just wondering what the current job market is for the first job pilot at the moment if anyone knows(whos all looking for jobs)and as what?

Anyone just passed an instructors rating where did you train and how long has it taken for you to get there from PPL,
What has it set you guys back(financially)

The current job market in Europe SUX !
I possess a JAR ATPL frozen and 500h, sent hundreds of cvs to british and various european companies. I did not get one interview !
Considering that this JAR ATPL took me three years (working full-time at the same time) and cost me 50K, this is a SCANDAL !
There are also many many jobless wannabes.
It seems also that 500 more hours piston does not make such a difference since some guys i know do not fare better with those hours. I heard the situation is gloomy in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
In Germany and Switserland the situation is not good either, there are too many wannabes for the available places.
