A380 gets theirs today. The rest of us tomorrow (24th). At least they had the decency to let us know.

At my previous outfit we used to get the rosters a day or two before the start of the new month...

Must be taking them longer than usual to do manual insertions :ugh:

These bids actually come out within 24 hours after the close of bidding. The next 11 days or so are solely for manual insertion (love that term!).

Doesn't seem to be accountability for the company on such issues, is there…

Absolute joke, as per usual. No respect, no accountability, they simply dont care. OM-A works only one way it seems.

Nothing to do with the new "improved" rostering system :E

Just been home for a few days, for less than a third of my leave and thats it for 2015...bumped into an old mate working in europe, he couldn't believe the things i told him, no emotion just listed events from rosters, forced moves, lack of leave etc... He gets 8 weeks roster in advance, a handful of "golden" days, because the company he works for realizes you actually may want to go to your sons graduation.. JA must have had 4 this week alone resign..it's all sad really. Just bumped into another couple who will be sending the same this week..

Guess EK are finding increasingly difficult to build rosters without enough pilots to fly their planes. Sign of the times. AS keeps telling us we have plenty of pilots. He must work for a different company......or on another planet..

I got a sneak peek of my roster the other day, they can take as long as they want to publish it officially. :ouch:

If you consider that we are all down around 10 annual leave days and there's 3818 of us doing around 200 days work a year we need 190 more crew just to give 42 days annual leave next year!

Yet another fine example of how not to communicate with your employees.

There are two things that are invioble to a pilot.

Money on time, roster on time.

Amateur hour on the third floor.

Disgraceful.

.... actually not screwing with my leave as well. That REALLY pi**es me off.

TCAS said he doesn't loose any sleep over the recruitment/attrition situation. I suspect the vile man doesn't lose sleep over anything to do with his minions.

And iCrew mysteriously comes up with roster changes.. For July.. If I would please acknowledge the fact that they are manually "augmenting" my roster..

Across the road at FZ rosters are late too due to staffing issues...

Don't worry about the sneak peak at your roster. They still managed to find room to sneak in another flight right before roster publication.

After my next leave (in maybe 2019), i will also inform them, by mail and two days before, that i will officially be late by one day.

As no consequences now, i expect none then ....
