Good day,

Does anyone have any firsthand experience doing an E145 Type Rating at SAT in Zurich or know of anyone who has that I can contact?

I have a job offer pending acquisition of the rating; so it's not speculative.

Thank you.

No info re. the 145 in particular, but have been (and am) flying with some who used to or currently do instruct on the bigger E-jets.

Def. not the cheapest place for a TR and also consider living expenses for a few weeks in Switzerland! Hotel and food (and beers...) can eat away your pocket money real quick here!

But quality of training is very high at SAT.

They don't sign any training agreement with a private trainee.... Only Operators. This is what they told me 6 months ago. Try with CAE UK..... Around 15000 euro for the 145....

Good luck !

INNflight, thank you for the response. I have definitely considered that the cost of accommodation, food etc would be a drawback of training there.

ginopino, thank you for your response. SAT is willing to accommodate me but they need me to bring a course partner. Two people being offered jobs on a Legacy at the same time is so unlikely, finding a sim partner is going to be tricky.

I tried to PM you but I think you have disabled the facility. Are you sure CAE UK is charging 15k Euros?

No VNAV,

Send you an email (PM is not possible because you're a probie).

You have FSI Paris that is doing Embraer 135/145 Type rating as well.
