I am reposting this as I have thought of a fresh line to to take on researching my father that is contained in this edited extract from this post http://www.pprune.org/where-they-now/541007-ramsay-marsh.html

'Two reasons. I am posting this here-
He trained as a bomber pilot in Canada from May 1943 and after graduating from course 118 on March 2, 1945 he presumably served on transport duties until 1947. I am curious as to the significance of PHOTOGRAPHIC DUTIES ONLY being stamped on the summary sheet of his official service record. He married Maxine Elliot in Canada in 1946 came back to England with his pregnant wife and the lived with Ramsay's parents at either Slough, Cippenham or Langley. His wife soon returned to Canada with her new-born son and subsequently divorced Ramsay.

Could anybody please suggest what reasons for such a stamp on the record?
