Ohio's aerial application pilots, otherwise known as crop dusters, recently came together for something called Operation SAFE. Very interesting on how that unique career field within aviation keeps on top of their equipment calibration.

This story and its long-form video go quite in depth into the process.

I'm involved with ag out in the west and one of my best A&P instructors was an old ag guy with more stories than 5 airline pilots put together. Driving in the central valley California at night, seeing those huge lights from the air tractors skimming above the crops just blow me away. Of course, I've seen several accidents, so kudos to those guys doing such demanding flying.
