In the spirit of cheering up your weekend ...

Airline passenger finds lizard in onflight meal - Asia - World - The Independent (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/airline-passenger-finds-lizard-in-onflight-meal-10317860.html)

Naturally:
Airline dismisses story as 'false and baseless'

So this could be false and someone having a laugh.

As I went for a pee earlier a lizard dropped on to the top of the toilet cistern just beside the "flush" button and didn't appear willing to move.

I'll flush the loo later :)

Well, an airline such as Air India would of course deny it. I have never seen them admit to any bad press in the past.

I see that the passenger asked for a 'special meal' Well they got it :ok:

Better than my 'vegetarian curry' out of BZN. Rice with a pile of procesed peas in an insipid curry sauce. I put the box into my nav bag and threw it onto OC Catering's desk the following day.

I might have been tempted to leave the burger and eat the lizard.

It's extra low-fat protein. In a few years, when it will no longer be economic to breed beef cattle, this is where we will be going, along with grasshoppers.

Is a lizard considered meat or fish?

When a lizard exits your airline burger looking hungry, then you definitely know the airline food is not up to par. :)

You have not lived until you have had an injured lizard (gecko) drop off the ceiling, hit you on the neck and fall down the back of your nice clean white shirt! While it goes bezerk trying to escape, you have no idea what is going on!

 :ooh:
