Been playing around with B/T bits for combining Nexus 4 phone and Nexus 10 tablet. Tried to hook up the N4 to the 'pooter' using a Belkin mini usb adaptor. PC 'sees' the adaptor and tries to install it but the supplied driver is not suitable - XP and Vista OK but needs W7 64 bit. Much web searching shows similar problems all over but NO solutions!! Can anyone point towards a possible driver source ... or an alternative B/T adaptor which will cope with W7 64 bit, please??
TIA

Seems it's probably a Broadcom chipset so try the driver here - WIDCOMM® Bluetooth Windows® Software : https://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/

le Pingouin - many thanks - fingers crossed, it looks like that is spot on. Downloaded and installed and will be able to check it on next start-up.

Ah, spoke too soon!!:uhoh: Doesn't work ... at least on W7 64 bit. From the 'net,it looks like it is a universal, frequent and insoluble problem. Pages of cries for help and no answers. Back to XP???? Shhhh! don't tell mixture:E

BlueSoleil [Bluesoleil.com] do a somewhat expensive but very very good Bluetooth driver stack.

You may be able to try-before-you-buy

'gd luck!
