I searched and it wasn't posted yet. In the fall Comair is closing their Orlando hub. They say their now going towards business travel rather than leisure travel. The news just said also their planning on a Dallas, Texas hub sometime in the future.

It sure looks like. Chautauqua is the new Delta Connection carrier.
Our site states we'll get 22 ERJs (14 135 and 7 145). 4 stripes coming soon.

Rumors are that Comair will get a DFW base and will start flying out of STL.

Looks like Comair are back in Florida. TPA and FLL is the word on the street.

Arent Chautauqua just replacing Comair at MCO?

Why would Comair go to DFW when Delta have just closed their hub there?

Perhaps to replace mainline Delta service with Delta-branded RJ service. Also to feed remaining Delta hubs. DFW to ATL is under 750 miles. DFW to Cincinatti is around 800 miles.

I can understand about feeding other hubs from DFW, but surely if they were being used to replace mainline this should have been done when mainline pulled out. By now Delta flyers will have new airlines to fly on from Dallas
