Hi
I have just come across a BEATLES CD a friend from the BBC gave to me some years ago. It had 29 Albums on it and I know some of them were only for export to the USA. Unfortunately they were recorded in WAV/MP3 format to get so many albums onto one disk. I wish to transpose these for future use onto individual CDs in normal format, does anyone have any ideas on HOW I can do this please.:confused:

in normal format

Just to be sure ....As in "so I can stick it into a dumb CD player in my car/kitchen/toilet" ? Or as in another computer format ?

Any half decent CD burning software should be able to achieve that feat ? Maybe even Windows Media Player (see here, scroll down a bit to "audio cd" (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/burn-cd-dvd-media-player-faq#)).

If you've got iTunes (or something like that), then that will probably have the functionality built-in too.

What do you have in terms of software at your disposal ? I'm guessing you probably don't have any CD burning software already ?

Of course if you're an obsessive audio geek who thinks oxygen-free gold-plated cables blessed by a unicorn make some difference to your audio, you'll probably need some "special" software to get "maximum" quality. :E

CD Burner XP (https://cdburnerxp.se/en/home)

Works well. You can drag and drop the tracks for each CD into the Burn box, rearrange them, them burn to CD. It'll display the space available on the CD so you don't overcook it. I've used it for years and it's great.

CD Burner XP uses OpenCandy in the installer, so you need to look carefully during the installation process.

Windows' own WMP works just fine burning audio CDs.
