Just look at the way it's written - 'Terrified passenger', 'moments before take-off' etc etc Terrified passenger shares image of easyJet worker using TAPE on aeroplane engine moments before take-off - Transport - News - London Evening Standard (http://www.standard.co.uk/news/transport/terrified-passenger-shares-image-of-easyjet-worker-using-tape-on-aeroplane-engine-moments-before-takeoff-10286285.html)

Yes. So terrified that they all flew on said jet.

That's the last time they'll do that. The cost of the negative publicity must be huge. It would be better to get the passengers off, tape it up and the reboard in future. Gotta love social media.

I thought the good thing was the way that EZY responded very fast to stop the rumour getting out of hand. That's what companies have to do these days. So I'd say is a huge 'well done' to their social media monitoring team.
