Who has done the upgrade on 604. Any issues, recommendations? Hardware necessary or only software?

Wow....no one has done this yet? 1st December this year is the deadline....
or it was so expensive that no one wants to think about?

According to our maintenance we have had the TCAS 7.1 upgrade for over a year in our 604 and we have had no issues.
