From the SCMP
Singapore airlines A330 suffered a double engine failure en route from Singapore to Shanghai
First engine failed at 11900m the second a few minutes later
Weather radar charts show the plane was heading into a powerful storm at the time of the incident - the same one that had caused chaos at Chek Lap Kok airport throughout the weekend
Power was recovered quickly on one engine , the other engine was started at a lower level . No obvious cause was seen during ground inspection of the engines

The flight continued to Shanghai . That's about another 2 hours of flying . Are you kidding ?

A double engine failure, and you continue past the nearst suitable airport.
Maybe land at the nearest suitable airport it's not in the checklist . But surely common sense dictates, get the aircraft on the ground as quickly as possible after having suffered an unexplained dual engine failure
