Hello
I would like to know the location of the LP fuel valve of a 320 . The technical diagram since it presents the system from the top does not make it clear if the LP fuel valve is close to the leading edge or on the aft part of the pylon .

Hi alexious85,

According to https://www.scribd.com/doc/104431928/48/LOW-PRESSURE-FUEL-SHUT-OFF-VALVE (https://www.scribd.com
/doc/104431928/48/LOW-PRESSURE-FUEL-SHUT-OFF-VALVE), Page 108, "The valve is located on the engine supply system in the wing leading edge."

That's why this LP valve is called "spar valve"

I've been flying the Airbus for over a year now .... No one called the LP valve the " spar valve " .....maybe the engineers do ... Thank you for your inputs

I agree as engineer, for Boeing fleet is usual term spare valve, for Airbus LP valve...working on both makes no difference for me :)

I've even heard it referred to as "firewall shutoff valve".
