Anyone ever flown a Q400 in/out of 3500' runways?

If so, what kind of weight penalty is imposed.

What altitude and temperatures are we talking about? Limiting terrain in the area? Or just a flat 3500' into wind with nothing around and ISA at sea level?

At zero field elevation and ISA conditions you can carry approx. 25000 kg take off weight out of a 3500 ft runway.
The maximum landing weight will also be around 25000 kg. All calculated with no limiting obstacles.
For ISA+20 conditions the max takeoff weight will reduce about 1000 kg.

Yes, sea level to 1000 asl.

OATs up to +25C.

I'm more concerned about the landing weight as I'll be departing empty but with full fuel.
