Here's a naive question for the masses:

Are there any alternatives to the Saudi/BAe juggernaut in terms of pilot jobs for a military (& fast jet) instructor in the Middle-East?

I'm unaware if countries such as UAE, Kuwait, Qatar etc... have similar "privatised" training using foreign QFIs - is there such a beast?

If so, I would be interested in any job opportunities and their associated pay & conditions.

FRADU at Yeovilton operates Hawks flown by civilians and ETPS at Boscombe has civilian pilots on its staff.

FR Aviation operates Falcons for EW training, not exactly fast jet but more in the military flying style than airlines offer

Macchi - I was in Kuwait for 5 years - several foreign instructors there on F 18s, obviously, most were Americans.

I don't intend going back - ever ever!

Good luck!
