Can any kind folk advise on where I can obtain some free material to study the proline 21 suite.

There *used* to be a Windoze based software disk you could get that gave you the Proline Unit on screen and you could program it for assorted routes and types. The Proline system is pretty generic so I wouldn't worry about type specific too much - it's getting used to finding the hidden menus that takes a little time.

Not sure where you are doing your course but the Flight Safety stuff on Proline is excellent.

There are some Proline 21 manuals available on smartcockpit.com. I lookd at them before I got my CJ4 manuals a few years ago. Rockwell-Collins has Proline 21 simulator software but it's expensive. If you call them and ask, they will give you a 30 day evaluation license (tail number required). This is what I did but like I say it was about 3 years ago. i understand they will still do this however.
