I was at the Everett flight line yesterday - the Cathay 777 parked next to the 747 I was working had painted on the side - below the Cathay Pacific logo - "50th 777-300ER for Cathay Pacific".
Congratulations :ok:

More jets for junior crew to fly the best rosters in whilst the senior guys are royally shafted.

Correction - I saw it again today and it says "Our 50th 777-300ER".
That's what I get for not taking notes :O

Maybe while we are growing a set of nuts, we can also negotiate the ability to bid for fleets? Once you've served for two years on one fleet, you are free to bid for another fleet.... like every other airline in the world! (1st world).

yet another way we already give CX the most flexibility in the industry. I'll be RQ tomorrow for free again.

At least the 350 will be out next year.

Ah yes, the 350. The plane that will be the end of the rubbish 330 rosters. Wonder who is going to fly the 330s when we are all soaking up the Spanish sun on our 72hr layovers.

Dragon probably, to those exotic destinations that the 320/321 has become so inadequate for.

And meanwhile across the road at KA, they have how many aircraft on order???

Oh, it looks like a big fat... ZERO!!

Just goes to show how retarded the KA bean counters are to let so much market share be guzzled up by Hong Kong Airlines and Express.

Not to mention the age of all their 320's :ugh:

There are no KA bean counters, they are CX.

Would you rather we only had 10? How would your career prospects look then?

The question is how many 777 FOs will take that 330 command?

No the question is how many new 777 captains will be dragged to the Airbus.
