Is anyone using AvMap Lite on their Android tablet? Mine has always been a bit dodgy - maps suddenly disappearing etc, but now the damn thing won't even open. They have not responded to my emails - I see they're in the States now - probably too busy.

Never heard of avmap. Can't find a link on google for the android app either. The website seems to sell standalone navigation devices but no mention of an android app.
I'm using ozrunways for android and its great. Lacking features at the moment but it's still a baby and I'm glad ozrunways took that direction.

I think you mean Avplan Lite which is for Android.
I have not used it, but it seems to be based on the Avplan app for Ipad/iPhone, which is a good program, as is Ozrunways.
Ozrunways also do an Android version. which they call RWY by OzRunways.
Yes, sorry about the wrong name - having a seniors moment! Since I posted they have replied to my email, and the next version is supposed to be much better. I also have RWY by Ozrunways which works quite well.
