Clarks do me just fine. I normally wear the heels out before deicing chemicals do for the leather.

My choice is Hush Puppies

Ecco shoes are worth a look. Lightweight and long-lasting.

I say Togue they do indeed look very smart. What is the style name in the hush puppy range? Do they last very long? I would be a little worried about such expensive shoes out on the ramp though with oils, skydrol, fuel, etc all over the place. How do they hold up with the preflight checks?

Ecco; light, comfy, long lasting and don't slip on a wet ramp.

Gas Bags,

For the last 10 years I have been loyal to this brand. They have been with me when flying corporate in hostile environment like 40 Celsius on the tarmac, when on heavy rain during the monsoon, walking on the sandbox or during winter snow ; and also when flying for an airline something like 80 to 90 hours a month walking on carpets of all kinds of texture and conditions. They are in the range of 80 to 130 USD. It depends where you buy them. In Asia the price is around 80 USD. In America they are 125 USD approximately. In Asia the model is 8546204. Could not find them in Hush Puppies .au website. The closest one was Randwick, product code 124026 for $140. But you know, different strokes for different folks.
They last between 2 to 4 years when on continuous use depending on multiple factors.

Rockport for me. Waterproof and a good grippy sole.

Agree with the Rockport.
I have the Allander model, and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. More than running shoes, I dare to say. Plus they last forever.
A shame I struggle to find them in Europe these days...

Ecco... Have wide foot and they have a great selection. Slip ons for security... I've had mine for over 5 years. Leather looks good.... Sole is made by NASA or the CIA, hardly no wear. Can't explain it. Maybe it's because I don't do walk arounds anymore :)

Johnson and Murphy make a black leather slip on shoe called the Penn Moc, most comfortable damn shoe i've ever owned. High quality, and the XC4 sole is durable enough to last a few seasons of abuse. I buy a new pair every year and rotate out the worst one. No metal shanks so it's also metal detector friendly. Price point ~ $120

I started off with Rockports, then moved on to Australian Blundstones and Ariat Ropers.

I'm on board with the Clarks too. Great combo of durability and comfort.

Skydrol LOVES leather. I went through two pairs of nice leather shoes in a month, only to realize that I had stepped in Skydrol hydraulic fluid. And the smell in the cockpit as it ate through the leather...yuck! School of hard knocks. So, stay away from leather soled shoes. It was an expensive lesson for me.
