Hi,
Ive just come across Ibertour and see they are running an ATPL course for 34,995euro. Has anyone done research into this, hidden costs, quality of the school etc? I would be interested in it for sure if its correct :)

I am spanish PPL from the zone! Avoid Spain if you want to become a pilot!

I spoke to a guy recently who had just got his PPL in Spain, I asked him what was the weather like over there and if he encountered any CB's, he did not know what a CB was, I was gobsmacked. How he passed his written exams or even a flight test is beyond me

Take a look PANAMEDIA, they are in VALENCIA or MALLORCA, and they have also good prices, and really good training, I am finishing my ATPL right now in Valencia with them, so I know what I am talking about.

They dont have any IR instructor, except from the owner but he is always gone and not flying much. Of the whole fleet there are 2 operating for 150+ students. I spent too long there, its a prison without a fence. The only guard is the money you payed. But be smart and dont go there!

Yeah heard the same from a guy I know. He went to another school, because he was done with Ibertour. Dont go there was his message. Well I finished my training somewhere else, but I can always warn people of course ;) .
