Hi,
I was checking out on my FCOM about the MEL 28-01 on the fuel boost pump main tank AFT PUMP. It says that a minimum fuel quantity of 1,134kg should be maintained in associated tank.

When it comes to fuel planning and regarding the alternate field,
1.should you get there with a minimum of 1,134kg in each wing, ie 2,268kg (which is more than the 30 min of the final reserve) and the aft fuel pump is always submerged.
or
2.should you land at your alternate with a minimum of 30 min (final reserve) + 1,134kg in each wing (which means if I had to use the final reserve, I would still have the main tanks with at least 1,134kg each)?

the fuel is treated as unusable fuel so is not included in the 30 min reserve

c100driver is correct, the rule is treated as unusable.
So add your normal fuel reserves to it in order to determine required fuel.
If your flight planning software does not allow you to plan for this failed item, add an adjustment for trip burn for the additional 2268kg carried as weight (~90 kg/h), then add this additional trip fuel requirement plus 2268kg to your flight plan fuel... Remember that in case of diversion this extra fuel also exists and must be taken into account for diversion fuel (time) as well.

You don't need 2268kg because you can use the max imbalance limit.

2268 - 453
So it can be 1815kg.

In fact you must take into account the max imbalance according to our MEL.
