Dragonair employment

G'day all.

Just recently put an application into Dragonair in Hong kong.
Was wondering if anyone had any inside word on any possible employment that may be coming up throughout the year.
Currently a turboprop captain in Australia and am keen to make the leap across to overseas jet work if possible.
Any CONSTRUCTIVE advice would be very much appreciated.

You're DEFINITELY in the right place for that.

They are looking for jet rated pilots atm since they ****** up their recruitment a few years back (too many 200hrs kids...ah...some are even MPL kids with less than 200hrs); therefore KA wants suitable candidates who can upgrade quickly.

But you are definitely the right candidate in regards to your origin - they love expats who are willing to work on local terms (about a 40% pay difference).
