Will not affect aviation much since there are not enough experienced Tanzanian pilots.

Truth is Tz,lacks QUALIFIED EXperienced A319 pilots, however now that the law has come up fastjet will surely give the locals a warmer welcome to the crew...though do not underestimate the need for expats to keep Fastjet steadily flying.

Wait a minute, the law hasn't been passed but rather pending approval by the president and will take effect on July 1st 2015.let's wait amd see what comes of it in the aviation world.
Till then just keep your fingers crossed.

Interesting how another post on flying in Tanzania has mysteriously vanished. Presumably that would be the one where the two main proponents signed up new usernames in order to agree (and oddly) disagree with themselves!
