Young chap bought the thing round. I've used the same software for years so was please to get this for 35 quid. Cheap, but has not got the transparency frames. I found out first they are @$#^@$# expensive, but for now, it runs well on the reflective scanner - now that I've got the 'optical quality' (yeh, right) glass clean.

Has anyone got one of these? What I don't know is how many transparencies one can put under the fairly narrow lid light and if the software detects the small squares. Something it did last night leads me to believe it does.

Anyone in the UK got a busted one for parts per chance?

Are you sure it's a 4450n? Not a 4490/GT-X750?

The ad had the n but on the front it says 4450 Photo

Darndest thing. As the lad was on his way, I found it and had the driver on its way in about 60 seconds. Today, nothing but printers - until I set a search for the driver exe file number 13552. And there it was Epsom Perfection 4450.

The ways of t'net are mysterious indeed.
