Hi Guys,

Does anyone know the costs of a EASA Gulfstream Type rating?

I have looked through the threads.

No luck until now.

Thanks

The costs associated with the type can be all over the place so I suggest you try the link suggested above and also call CAE & FSI for quotes. Keep in in mind that your buying a Gulfsteam V type rating with 550 and 450 differences, at least that how it works under FAA rules. To give you an example of the extremes, my GV/450/550 Type rating package costs $29,000 at FSI and my partners same package was billed out at $72,000. That was eight years ago so the numbers have changed some I'm sure.

Results may vary!

Don't forget to factor in the cost of Base Training("Touch and Go's") if you are on a EASA or similar license. Some ATO's don't have the ability to do your landings following the rating.

I should have been clearer in my post. The training was for the G550, with differences for the GV and G450. The type rating says Gulfstream V on the FAA airman cert.
