COMAC = Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China.
This is the first prototype model in build. I understood most A/C manufacturers normally build 3 or 5 prototypes for flight and ground testing.
I see one on this line. Certification target is sometime in 2017.

One of my mottos is "Never buy the first model year of anything".
I might give this one five or more years of proving myself before using, just on principle.

Nice big windshields tho'.

That's how they acquire the technical ability.

Western companies rush to supply their products which initially expands their market until the Chinese abandon the agreements and supply their own version - been happening in the vehicle industry for years . . .

But do they have more crashes than the real deal?
