Reader CommentAbout twenty years ago we crossed the Mackenzie river at the crossing near FT Providence on the last day it was open for that year. On most of the river the water was running on top of the ice about three feet deep, and we we're pushing icebergs out of our road with the moose bumper. That was kind of scary.

Ya, those moose bumpers can be quite scary. But not as scary as a Moose!
