I was hearing that the 32sqn BAe 125s are due for retirement soon leaving only the two 146s, does anyone know what is going to fill the gap?

They have four 146's not two, and one AgustaWestland 109.

No replacement planned for retiring 125's.

Thanks pr00ne, thought the extra two 146s were freighters leased for work in the Gulf.

They are QCs rather than dedicated freighters, and used a bit farther east than the Gulf:

The two 146QC's were taken into core budget last year. Back in UK now.
