It is my contention that it is not possible to detect gravity waves by any existing means. That they exist is not the issue, but that we can put a machine, consisting of known particles, into the Šther and expect to get results is like testing for dampness in an ocean.

ANY device will undergo modification as spacetime carries such a wave and will simply be a part of a scale change that alters the rulers as well as the region that has to be measured.
