Hello,

My first time here. I know I have a lot of reading to do. I am 31yo, and currently at the stage of choosing the school where to get my ATPL license via integrated course.

In your opinion, does it matter A LOT for work purposes in the future, which school I attended? I heard about the big 4 schools (ctc, etc) - however, some europian schools offer the same thing for half the price.

Does prestige really matter at the end of the day, as long as I do integrated course ,rather than modular?

See the thread : complete novice, advise needed

Basically asking the same Qs as you.

At the end of the day, you only get what you pay for.
Reputation of an ATO is an important factor.

Get your class one medical before anything else.

UK based?

I am european, however I lived in UK for 5 years, and currently located in Spain - so for me it does not really matter much, if it would be UK, Europe, or even US..

Europe for EASA licence
USA for FAA licence

I'm enrolling in the distance learning course at Bristol Ground school in April time, ready for my return from the US.

I did lots of research in the ground schooling, including where to go and wether or not to do a classroom based or distance learning. The advice I got was pretty much the unanimous in that the DL course at Bristol Ground school is second to none.

Hi,

I'm looking for options to do a modular ATPL. Can you send me the offer you have at Bristol ?
