Anyone know how long a walk the pub is from the airfield?

As the crow flies, from the centre of the airfield to the nearest PH on OS map 1mile.

Park at the western end with Enstone Flying club and you've a 15-20 minute hike to the Crown at Enstone.

The Falkland Arms at Great Tew is an excellent pub, but more like a 30 minute hike.

There's a good chance someone will give you a lift if you ask nicely.

Thanks chaps. I've clocked it on Google Earth and it seems not too far in a straight line but looks like you have to hike around the peri track when walking. We'll give it a go anyway, hopefully be there next week weather permitting.
