P.S. A bit of panel beating, a quick buff and it will be like new again!

wasnt it only the R44's that had the bladder mods?

Yeah it was/is an issue with the R44.

A most attractive young female acquaintance of mine got a gig as a weather girlie at a regional TV station.

This also involved regular trips in an R22 to report on 'traffic snarls' etc.
I chewed my fingernails to the bone until she moved on from that.

New 22s have had bladder tanks for a while now, not sure if there was a requirement to retrofit older ones.

The ATN traffic reporting helicopters are R44 Newscopters, not R22s.

OK, thanks John.
You've probably had difficulty yourself getting accurate descriptions from the fairer sex.
"What kind of aeroplane was it, dear?"
"Oh, it was a nice shiny white one!."

ISTR that she described it as a two-seater Robbie, though.
I'll check.

I often find it's the old fuddy-duddies who get easily muddled over these sorts of things :ok:

Dropbox is a file transfer service, it is not an image hosting site.

Open a free account with Photobucket (or one of the other hosting sites), save your photo to Photobucket, then post the link to PPRuNe. You have the link format correct in your attempt above, the problem is that you are linking to Dropbox.

Well, mcgrath, I have no problems identifying aircraft etc - even at quite a distance.
What I quite often do get it wrong, however, is when I'm asked by a lady to guess her age.
I usually manage to underestimate by at least ten years.
I often wonder how I could be so far out. :hmm:
