Am I the only one slightly suspicious of this "story" the Daily Mail :hmm: have been running this weekend..are they genuinely folk who have through no fault of their own are down to their last £1000 plus a month and have to rough it at LHR, ??

Well whatever the truth of the current situation the gentleman seems to be remarkably unlucky in life:

?Fearing for my life in war zone Beirut? (From Bournemouth Echo) (http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/845858.___Fearing_for_my_life_in_war_zone_Beirut___/)

And as that article points out in it's final paragraph: "It is not the first time Mr Lane has been caught up in a foreign conflict. He was staying in Lagos in Nigeria several years ago when there was a coup."

FWIW their fund me page is now up to 9K plus and rising  .....

I repeat my post on another thread:-

The Mail.

Why bother to read it? You know they talk rubbish.

Why bother to get indignant when they talk rubbish? You know they talk rubbish.

Why bother to post the fact that they talk rubbish? We all know they talk rubbish.

BUT... It's as good as the Bible to so many of our limp-minded brethren out there.
I wonder what the appeal has reached so far.

What's that saying?
"A fool and his money are soon parted."

We don’t want to stick out. So we change our locations within terminals. We don’t stay in the same place on two successive nights

Right. So full colour photographs on the Daily Mail's website is 'incognito', is it?

We don’t want to stick out.

Oddly enough, your post attracted an advert for breast enlargement. :p

Magnus,
I have to remind you that the adverts at the top of the page are generated by your own browsing history :D

Really?
I wonder, then, how they've determined that I'm a female with weight problems.

What I said was not totally true.
The adverts at the top are generated (mostly by Google) based in it's interpretation of both your searches and purchases. Also if you are a tweeter your input there may contribute to your so called 'profile'.
These profiles relate to all of us that use the net and are extremely complex and worth a lot of money to advertisers.
Have you never wondered how Tw****r make millions of $ a year when it charges you nothing for your tweets.
However…..if entry to JB has any effect on our profiles then it's no wonder they have confusing results:{ (I don't think our ramblings on here actually do make any contribution)

funfly, if there's one thing I DON'T need, it's breast enlargement!

Any other enhancements to my already-magnificent physique would have to be discussed with MrsP. :)
