Access to ZED fares via the EK staff site post retirement

I've had my fill of rumours but perhaps there is some kind soul out there who'd could verify or deny....

On the main page there is a button to click for "retiree". If one has accessed in that fashion can you still purchase ZED fares or do they become unavailable if you are not in full-time service?

I think that might be for those who had 15 years and left/retired as I thought after that you get standby for life so I reckon this is how they go in there to sort it when they want to check loads etc.

In my case I just know that the day I get to 15 years (yeah right) the perk will vanish magically :mad:

its not just 15 years, you also have to be within 10 years of retirement age which is now 65

I recently left after just over 10 years and within 10 years of NRD (left before 65) and can access ZED fares through the 'Retirees' section of TRIPS.
