Britannia Airways is developing a more flexible low-cost service in a bid to carve out a niche in the growing low-frills market.

Although the firm's plans stop short of setting up a separate airline, it will soon offer one-way flights and flexible departure dates - rather than just 7 or 14-day returns.... Does this mean increased frequency of all of its routes out of its UK bases????

Plans are afoot to launch BritanniaDirect.com and sell on-line.

Have you noticed how most airlines have paniced since Go and bmibaby started operations at EMA in March!!... It's probably because EMA is a big charter airport and market share could be lost if action is not taken.
