Many of you may have noticed that the volvo's now have samsung tablets installed.
The system will be switched on in the next few weeks, it will have gps and communication capability plus a data base of pilots living addresses.
Oh well, it's back to paper charts for the rest of us!

Paper charts! We should be so lucky. It's actually back to the EFB for us, which, if installed in the Volvos would result in death and mayhem. The mind reels.

Those kind of tablets...there was I thinking we were getting free Vicodin to help take the pain away !!

My car had the tablet on and functioning two nights ago. Name, staff number and a area for a personal photo (which was blank). In addition, crew member's address, with a start trip icon which is pressed when the member is picked up. After everyone was onboard, said trip was complete and a recorded time stamp generated.

A new way of measuring our personal OTP?
Maybe they can come up with a new set of delay codes that they will determine 2 years later are useless.
