Can anyone help with two deliveries, each of 1T, to an approximate location 200nm north of Svalbard (300nm north of ENSB).

Need one of:
A ship with a helicopter.
Helicopter.
Aeroplane with skis.

Best regards, Sam.

Does it have to be now? Wait a handfull of months and call Air Iceland (formerly Flugfélag Nordurlands) in Akureyri. They do lots of work on the east and north Greenland coast.

Quite a distance from Iceland to Lonyearbyen, 1000 NM at least.

Hi All,

Lufttransport were surprisingly unhelpful.

"No, we don't do this..." which I thought was odd...

Cheers, Sam.

You could also try Norlandair. They specialize in this type of work in Greenland and Iceland and have a lot of experience.

Could be a stretch to Svalbard from Akureyri, but always worth the try.

I hadn't seen that article, thanks!

Yes, it went ahead. Oslo decided in our favour shortly before the trip (which removed some uncertainty about what the Governor might, or might not, try).

"Outside his jurisdiction" was the final, and in perpetuity, decision.

Best regards, Sam.

This is probably way late, but Pole Position Logistics (http://www.pole-position.no/) appear do to all sorts of handling in LYR, including (I read somewhere) logistics for the Russian Barneo base.
