SHould the CAA Medical Department be allowed to reject people on medical grunds based on written reports and generialisations without having to see the individual concerned or should they have to make their decision based on each and every individual?

And if they are flying, the CAA should not be allowed to ground them temporarily on the basis of a written report or a diagnosis based on old information. I have personally suffered from this "ground them instantly while we think about it" attitude.
