JAR CPL(H)+IR+MCC/IR....ATPL(H) theoretical Credits?

Hello Everybody,
My present situation is as follow
-JAR CPL(H) theoretical exams done under JAR in 2006
- Me-IR (H) theoretical exams done under JAR-FCL in 2012 and completed in 2013
- MCC/IFR course completed under EASA Reg. EU1178/2011 FCL.735.H nov/2014

I presently hold a valid EASA CPL(H) /IR Multi engine and I'm reaching all requirements for ATPL

My question is the following:
What should I do to get ATPL(H) theoretical credit?
I'm not able to find any "bridge" for my case.
Any suggestion or information will be really really appreciate.:ugh:

H. ATP modular course — Helicopters
1. Applicants for an ATPL(H) who complete their theoretical knowledge instruction at a modular course shall hold at least a PPL(H) and complete at least the following hours of instruction within a period of 18 months:
(a) for applicants holding a PPL(H) issued in accordance with Annex 1 to the Chicago Convention: 550 hours;
(b) for applicants holding a CPL(H): 300 hours.
2. Applicants for an ATPL(H)/IR who complete their theoretical knowledge instruction at a modular course shall hold at least a PPL(H) and complete at least the following hours of instruction:
(a) for applicants holding a PPL(H): 650 hours;
(b) for applicants holding a CPL(H): 400 hours;
(c) for applicants holding an IR(H): 500 hours;
(d) for applicants holding a CPL(H) and an IR(H): 250 hours.

But i don't know which subject you have to test again....

i think that this is the only credit (no matter if you have a cpl+ir):

3.4. An applicant for an ATPL(H), having passed the relevant theoretical examinations for a CPL(H) is credited towards the theoretical knowledge requirements in the following subjects:
— Air Law,
— Principles of Flight (Helicopter),
— VFR Communications.

so you have to test again all subject of atpl (vfr) (airlaw-priciples of flight and vfr com excluded)

I think it depends on what your CAA agree on as to what credits you hold and their interpretation of the regs.

If you gained your license under Amendment 3 of JAR, which I presume you did based on the year you gained your CPL, then you may have automatically received ATPL VFR credit under para 2.050(b)(10) of JAR. You may be able to use this against Article 4(1) of EU 1178/2011 where it refers to JAR compliant licenses being deemed to be Part-FCL licenses. But I think each country may be different as to which amendments they used.

In theory, if you have an Amendment 3 licence, you already have the equivalent.

Under JAR Amendment 6 (10) "the holder of a CPL(H) gained under previous amendments of JAR-FCL 2 up to and including Amendment 3 is credited with the theoretical knowledge requirements for ATPL(H)." A CPL(H) issued under JAR FCL Amendment 3 is the equivalent of the ATPL(H)(VFR) in terms of theoretical knowledge - paragraph 2.050(b)(10) refers. This credit was carried over into Part FCL.

This, plus the IR TK, which you have, should be the equivalent of ATPL(H) TK. If you have an Amendment 3 licence!

Thanks a lot for infos,
When I did my cpl theoretical exams it was already in English but I'm not sure if it was Amendemt 3... in fact I did the exams on paper and not on computer.( if I remember well It has happened because Computer room in Rome was not yet functional..)

When I did IR exams I was granted of same credits (Human Performance and Limitation e Metereology as stated in Appendix 4 to JAR FCL 2.050)( probably because my CPL was already Amndement 3?)

Presently I wrote a email to the Italian authority and I have interested a FTO, but i still waiting for reply.
Hoping to not have to redo all exams!!! :ugh:

in 2009-2010 italy was at amdt 3....

This should be valid "up to" Amendements 3.....and so it is including eventually also of Amendment 1?

Yes, after Amendment 6 it all changes.
