Guys,
Just wondering if someone could give me some details on the Malaysian and Air Asia Airlines cadet schemes. From their websites I can gather basic details but just after some info on time, what you need to go into it, what you come out with, duration, prerequisites, who does the training for them etc.

A search here reveals some info but it is up to 14 years old.

Any help very much appreciated.

Cheers

The million dollar question is do you have a Malaysian passport?

Mate,
Not for me, for a friend who has a son born there and yes he has a passport. He is not yet 18 but has expressed an interest in flying and I have taken him for a 2 flights. Just a general enquiry to help him out. Yep he could do this himself but thought I would ask the brains trust here for their take on it.

Cheers

I'm surprised they still have a cadet program running considering the thousands of unemployed CPL/IR holders in Malaysia at the moment.
