I see that Wikepedia records a single survivor, held in an Italian museum, but a 1977 magazine refers to another example then residing at an airfield in Torreion, Spain - does this still exist, I wonder?

( In looking at a YouTube video about Spanish Civil War ace Joaquín García Morato, I notice a colour foto of a tatty looking Spanish CR32, so maybe this is the Torrien one??)

There isn't (or wasn't when I was there) one at Torrejon, however there was one in the Museum at Cuatro Vientros, to the South of Madrid.
Probably still there.

Thanks for that pointer; yes, the museum website does confirm existance of that second survivor and (I think), from foto, that is presented in colours of plane flown by Joaquín García Morato.

Thanks for fotos - btw, was there a flyable CR42 project somewhere? Wonder if that is still progressing?

Be nice to see that flying, alongside Gladiators!

Yes, there is an ongoing restoration, by The Fighter Collection. The latest information is here:
