A340 retirement volunteers

Is this one of those "for free and on our own time" type of deals as the term volunteer implies??
Sort of like the "volunteers" for RT/PC trials?? :}

How come you don't ask for volunteers when it comes to fetching new ones from the factory?? :sad:
